Andrew H. Kim is a private-practice gastroenterologist in Los Angeles, CA. He serves as the president of the Korean American Graduate Medical Association (KAGMA), as well as serving as the Chair of Utilization Management at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. Through his efforts with KAGMA and the Korean American Health Coalition, he has helped to organize educational seminars, promoted research investigating Korean American health needs, and has engaged in efforts to connect otherwise disjointed community resources.

Dr. Kim received his BA from Harvard University and his MD from Boston University, where he served as the president of the student council and was awarded the McNary award for leadership and service upon graduation. He completed his medical residency at Boston Medical Center and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Upon his return to Los Angeles, he initially joined medical practices that served a wide range of communities throughout Southern California. As his involvement with KAGMA and the Korean community grew, he later became a founding member of the GI Center of California, a single-specialty gastroenterology practice in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles.
